Grande ritorno dell'ex-Smiths con questo stupendo singolo

Sin dai primi minuti di ascolto ci si rende conto che non si tratta di un Morrissey geneticamente modificato e plasmato da un'industria discografica dedita al recupero di vecchie glorie consumate, da sfruttare in un periodo particolarmente revisionista come quello attuale. Questa è la rivincita voluta e sofferta di un uomo che alla bellezza di 45 anni rimette in gioco se stesso conservando intatti personalità e stile. [...]
Morrissey è in splendida forma, ancora capace di emozionare con morbide melodie disegnate dalla sua calda voce rassicurante che domina in tutte le 12 tracce, grazie anche a un'essenziale e precisa sezione ritmica, sulla quale trovano riscontro delicate trame di chitarra e tastiere, alternate a distorsioni sature e a un moderato uso di loop e synth.

Vorrei ke provaste ad askoltarvelo a palla in assoluto riposo meditativo, kiudendo gli okki, può solo emozionarvi.
Uno dei migliori skore di Zimmer, oltre l'essere un gran bel film.

Il suono straordinario degli Air vien fuori anche in questa traccia tratta dal loro ultimo capolavoro. Veramente notevole. Tutto l'album è pervaso da una certa malinconia di fondo, ma le melodie che ne risaltano sono sempre bellissime e ben riuscite.

Trattasi del celebre brano che viene spesso utilizzato anche come "stacchetto" su MTV. Un pezzo a mio avviso notevolissimo, del resto l'autore non è nuovo a produzioni di questo genere. Molto elettronica, molto trascinante, è un brano che io adoro e che mi è piaciuto fin dal primo momento; un po' antico un po' moderno nelle sonorità, è un esempio di musica elettronica che si avvicina tantissimo al synth pop.
