Summary :

- Disaster : Day of Crisis was a long and hard project to develop says Monolith Software (this is their first action game for the Wii), Nintendo has helped Monolith Software to finish their game.

- Nintendo worked on Disaster : Day of Crisis to make it more accessible to a large audience, hardcore gamers as well as casual gamers can both appreciate this game.

- Nintendo is not surprised by the low sales of Disaster : Day of Crisis in Japan, this is a new franchise with a very special concept, we can't expect more. Nintendo thinks that the game will sale in the future though.

- Wii Motion Plus wasn't tested for Disaster : Day of Crisis, Nintendo thinks that Wii Motion Plus is not needed for this type of action game.

- Monolith Software confirms that a new RPG is in development (see video).

Uscito! Sto leggendo diversi commenti ( NeoGAF etc. ) di chi lo ha provato. Sono rimasti abbastanza contenti, alcuni ne sono entusiasti! Confermata la grafica da PS2 con texture un po' sottotono, ma in alcuni frangenti è molto bella ad es. alcune ambientazioni, i modelli dei personaggi principali sono fatti bene. Cutscene molto belle.
Grande varietà di ambientazioni e di cose da fare. Wiimote utilizzato molto bene. Trama e Gameplay avvincenti. Longevità medio-alta. Elevata rigiocabilità.

A little rough around the edges but it mimics the disaster movie genre brilliantly, with cinematic style and tongue-in-cheek seriousness.

Solid all round despite occassional low-poly monstrosities and soft textures. Weather and disaster effects frequently impress though.
7.5 Sound
Music is suitably intense, if repetitive, effects are beefy and voicework is a cheesy delight.
8.0 Gameplay
Occassional dud moments can't detract from the constantly surprising array of entertaining, if shallow, game mechanics.
8.5 Lasting Appeal
Twelve hours for a single play-through but plenty of daft extras and unlockables encourage repeat visits.

Su Metacritic sta viaggiando a 75, che non è tanto malaccio.

Ma davvero si trova a 39 euro? Se è così vedo di prenderlo, visto che pure Regginator ha detto che non è un gioco da 50$!
