Grande settimana questa per Nintendo, che in Giappone conquista la testa della classifica software di Media Create (17/7/17 - 23/07/17) con una fantastica, ma attesa, prestazione di Splatoon 2 per Switch, capace di vendere la bellezza di 648.085 copie al lancio, trascinando verso l'alto anche la console stessa, che ha venduto la bellezza di 98.999 unità, probabilmente esaurendo completamente le nuove scorte immesse sul mercato da Nintendo.
Praticamente più della metà della base utenti giapponese di Switch ha comprato Splatoon 2 al lancio. Pensate che in soli tre giorni ha venduto più di quanto fatto complessivamente dal pur amatissimo Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
Buono il secondo posto di Layton's Mystery Journey: Katrielle and The Millionaires' Conspirac per 3DS, che conferma il buono stato di salute della console portatile di Nintendo. Per il resto, calano un po' le vendite di PlayStation 4, mentre va segnalata la discesa sotto quota cento unità vendute di Xbox One.
