Nonostante abbia venduto molto meno rispetto alla scorsa settimana, Call of Duty: Black Ops III rimane primo nelle classifiche di vendita giapponesi, battendo il lancio di Project X Zone 2 per Nintendo 3DS. Il successo del gioco di Activision, unito al lancio di altri titoli che in Giappone sono da considerarsi quasi esclusivi per la console di Sony, come Assassin's Creed Syndicate o Need for Speed, visto il peso nullo di Xbox One sul territorio, hanno trainato anche le vendite della macchina stessa, che rimane in prima posizione. Buono anche il risultato di Wii U, favorito dal nuovo bundle con Splatoon.
