Resident Evil 7 biohazard ha ricevuto ottime valutazioni da parte della critica e, senza sorprese, è salito in vetta alle classifiche giapponesi di vendita nella settimana dal 23 al 29 gennaio. Peraltro i risultati evidenziano una netta flessione rispetto al precedente capitolo, che nella prima settimana aveva piazzato 635,000 unità. L'ultima opera di Capcom si avvicenda a Gravity Rush 2, che si trovava al vertice la scorsa settimana e adesso occupa la quinta posizione. Sul podio troviamo Uta no Prince-Sama: Repeat Love e Pokémon Sole e Luna. Nella top 10 sono presenti anche Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue e Valkyria Revolution.
