Final Fantasy VII Remake è ancora una volta il gioco più atteso dai lettori della rivista nipponica Famitsu. In seconda posizione si conferma Monster Hunter: World, mentre Super Mario Odyssey occupa stabilmente il gradino più basso del podio.
In top 10 troviamo anche Kingdom Hearts III, Pokémon Ultrasole e Ultraluna e Dynasty Warriors 9. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 è solamente undicesimo, seguito da Metroid: Samus Returns. Al quattordicesimo posto Gran Turismo Sport.
Come già riferito in precedenza, il campione di utenti preso in esame per stilare la classifica in questione non è particolarmente ampio, ma è piuttosto significativo dei gusti tipici del pubblico nipponico, che trova in Famitsu il punto di riferimento principale.
