E' un ottimo debutto quello di Resident Evil 6 nelle classifiche software giapponesi: il titolo Capcom ha piazzato oltre 600mila copie nella versione PlayStation 3 e poco più di 40mila su Xbox 360, raggiungendo subito la vetta. Alle sue spalle troviamo World Soccer: Winning Eleven 2012 e Summon Night 3, rispettivamente per PS3 e PSP.
Sul fronte hardware abbiamo una rimonta di PlayStation 3, grazie all'uscita del nuovo modello Slim, che piazza oltre 42mila unità (contro le 8mila della settimana precedente), seguita dal solito Nintendo 3DS (XL e standard). Brutto momento per PlayStation Vita, sotto le 8mila unità settimanali.
