Dopo i primi avvistamenti, arriva la conferma sulla Borderlands 2: Game of the Year Edition, che viene annunciata oggi da 2K Games e Gearbox Software.
In uscita l'11 ottobre 2013, questa edizione speciale comprende il gioco originale e tutti i contenuti usciti all'interno del programma previsto dal Season Pass ormai concluso. Ecco dunque i contenuti della GOTY dell'action RPG cooperativo ad ambientazione fantascientifica:
