Come da tradizione, il lunedì arrivano le classifiche relative al mercato videoludico retail italiano, in base ai dati raccolti da Gfk, in questo caso sulla settimana compresa tra il 29 settembre e il 5 ottobre 2014.
Dopo l'incredibile settimana di lancio di FIFA 15, che ha portato il gioco EA ad occupare tutte e dieci le posizioni della top ten generale della classifica console, qualcosa è cambiato nei giorni presi in considerazione, anche se la predominanza del calcio EA continua ad essere evidente. Le altre grandi uscite del periodo sono La Terra di Mezzo: L'Ombra di Mordor che si piazza al quarto posto della classifica console e Forza Horizon 2 al sesto, con Super Smash Bros. per Nintendo 3DS piazzatosi in mezzo in quinta posizione.
