La festa delle Idi di Maggio
Maggio 2006: l'E3 è ormai alle porte e fra i febbrili preparativi per la partenza verso la Mecca occidentale dei videogiochi, vale la pena soffermarsi un istante su quanto effettivamente verrà dato in pasto alla stampa durante la folle "cinque giorni" losangelina.
Ovviamente grande attesa per il mondo console, per il quale tutti i contendenti dovrebbero finalmente mostrarsi con qualcosa di più o meno giocabile e nomi come God of War 2, Sonic the Hedgehog e Gears of War spiccano come enormi punti esclamativi, a indicare il percorso verso la next gen.
Eppure, per quei fan del PC che si aspettano un E3 parco di novità per la loro piattaforma preferita, forse è il caso di ricredersi.
Alan Wake non ci sarà, ma a stuzzicare la nostra curiosità ci saranno Prey e l'attesissimo BioShock -almeno per i nostalgici di System Shock, di cui è il seguito "morale" - per non parlare di Unreal Tournament 2007, Tabula Rasa e l'espansione di World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade.
E non finisce qui.
