Square Enix ha rilasciato le specifiche di sistema necessarie per far girare Just Cause 2 in versione PC, sia per quanto riguarda i requisiti minimi che quelli raccomandati. Il gioco appare abbandonare il supporto al vecchio sistema operativo Windows, quell'XP che ormai non offre a sua volta più supporto alle nuove versioni delle DirectX, a cominciare dalle 10. Per questo motivo Just Cause 2 garantirà compatibilità piena solamente con i più recenti Vista e Windows 7. Dategli un'occhiata nel dettaglio e confrontate i vostri hardware:
