PS4: otto milioni le unità vendute sul mercato giapponese, ma Nintendo Switch è pronta al sorpasso

Gli ultimi dati pubblicati da Media Create indicano che PlayStation 4 ha raggiunto otto milioni di unità piazzate sul mercato giapponese dal lancio, avvenuto a febbraio del 2014.

La piattaforma di Sony rimane dunque la console più venduta in Sol Levante nella generazione attuale, anche se Nintendo Switch segue da vicino con 7.74 milioni di unità, ottenute nell'arco di 24 mesi. In altre parole, mantenendo il ritmo attuale è solo questione di tempo prima che avvenga il sorpasso.

Ciò nondimeno PS4 è ancora di gran lunga la console più venduta a livello mondiale. Recentemente è stato comunicato il raggiungimento di 91.6 milioni di unità complessive, aggiornato al 31 dicembre 2018.

Per quanto riguarda il software giapponese, l'ultima settimana è stata guidata da Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, che ha totalizzato 157,548 copie vendute, davanti a Super Robot Wars T e Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon: Every Buddy!.
