In ambito software, le classifiche di Media Create relative alla settimana compresa tra il 21/5 e il 27/5/2018 mostrano un dominio netto delle nuove uscite per PlayStation 4, con Dark Souls Remastered, Detroit: Becom Human e Persona Dancing All-Star Triple Pack che conquistano le prime tre posizioni.
Nonostante ciò, le vendite di PlayStation non sono decollate. Un incremento rispetto alla scorsa settimana c'è stato, ma leggerissimo e non in grado di scalfire il dominio di Switch, che veleggia ormai oltre le 30.000 unità vendute ogni settimana. Paradossale che proprio Switch abbia registrato un incremento di vendite sensibilmente maggiore di quello di PlayStation 4, pur in assenza di nuove uscite di rilievo.
