I dati ufficiali di NPD, società che si occupa di monitorare l'andamento dell'industria dei videogiochi in Nord America, incoronano Far Cry 5 di Ubisoft come il gioco più venduto del mese di marzo 2018. Da notare che il dato tiene conto anche delle vendite digitali. Al secondo posto Sea of Thieves, che come già detto ha fatto segnare il lancio migliore di sempre di un titolo RARE nel territorio dal 1995 (anno in cui NPD ha iniziato a rilevare dati). Sì, è andato meglio di Goldeneye.
Attualmente Far Cry 5 ha venduto benissimo sia su PlayStation 4, sia su Xbox One, superando complessivamente le vendite di Monster Hunter: World e Dragon Ball: FighterZ. Insomma, per ora è il gioco più venduto del 2018.
Sea of Thieves è invece l'ottavo gioco più venduto dell'anno. Essendo un'esclusiva non è affatto male. Il dato non conta gli abbonamenti a Xbox Game Pass, quindi risulta ancora più impressionante.
Altro titolo andato molto bene è MLB 18: The Show, che ha fatto segnare il debutto migliore della serie. Leggiamo ora le varie classifiche:
