Le classifiche giapponesi stilate da Media Create di questa settimana, che va dal 31/07/17 a 06/08/17, vedono ancora delle ottime vendite per Dragon Quest XI, che piazza altre trecentomila copie su Nintendo 3DS e altre duecentomila su PlayStation 4. Al terzo posto troviamo ancora Splatoon 2 per Nintendo Switch, che riesce a vendere altre settantacinquemila copie circa. Il primo titolo inedito della classifica software è The Great Ace Attorney 2 per Nintendo 3DS, che debutta in quarta posizione vendendo quasi settantamila copie. I giapponesi meno eccitati degli occidentali per la Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy per PlayStation 4, che ha venduto trentamila copie.
Sul fronte hardware Switch è ancora la console più venduta, seguita da PlayStation 4 (in realtà dalla famiglia 3DS se sommiamo i vari modelli). Malissimo come al solito Xbox One, che in Giappone non riesce quasi più a superare le cento unità vendute a settimana.
