LittleBigPlanet sembra essere il mattatore dei Game Developers Choice Awards, i riconoscimenti videoludici assegnati in occasione della Game Developers Conference, con ben 9 candidature, ma anche Fallout 3, Left 4 Dead, Grand Theft Auto IV, Metal Gear Solid 4 e Fable II, ovviamente, non restano a guardare, insieme agli "indipendenti" Braid e World of Goo.
