Come ogni mercoledì arrivano i dati raccolti da Media Create per quanto riguarda il mercato videoludico nipponico, in questo caso nella settimana compresa il 7 e il 13 ottobre.
Com'era facile aspettarsi, a stravincere la gara delle vendite sono stati Pokémon X e Y, le due nuove versioni del celebre gioco di Game Freak per Nintendo 3DS che staccano di gran lunga tutti gli altri concorrenti totalizzando ben 1.866.570 copie, sommando entrambe le versioni. Al secondo posto un'altra new entry: Grand Theft Auto V riesce a conquistare anche il pubblico nipponico mettendo a segno 360.115 copie, seguito dal solito Monster Hunter 4 e poi le due new entry Tales of Symphonia Chronicles e DanganRonpa 1&2 Reload.
Sul fronte hardware non cambia nulla con Nintendo 3DS saldamente al comando seguito da PlayStatio Vita, PlayStation 3. Ancora in calo le vendite di Wii U.
