Nella giornata di oggi sono state annunciate le nomination della ventiduesima edizione dei D.I.C.E. Awards, organizzata dall'Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS). God of War è il titolo che ha ricevuto più attenzione con ben dodici candidature, seguito da Marvel's Spider-Man a quota undici.
I premi saranno assegnati da Greg Miller di Kinda Funny e Jessica Chobot di Nerdist News. I membri dell'AIAS raccoglieranno i voti a partire da domani. Quest'anno è previsto l'inserimento nella Hall of Fame di Bonnie Ross, vice presidente corporate di Microsoft nonché leader di 343 Industries. L'evento sarà trasmesso in live streaming a partire dalle 20:00 pm PT di mercoledì 13 febbraio (le 5:00 di giovedì 14 febbraio in Italia).
I giochi che hanno ricevuto almeno una nomination sono complessivamente 56. Oltre a God of War e Marvel's Spider-Man, gli altri titoli che hanno ricevuto più candidature sono stati Red Dead Redemption 2 (otto nomination) e Return of the Obra Dinn (sei nomination).
