Rock Band Blitz per Xbox 360 e PlayStation 3è arrivato al capolinea. Harmonix ha infatti annunciato tramite i suoi forum ufficiali che il 28 agosto 2017 toglierà il supporto al gioco, ossia lo rimuoverà dai listini del Microsoft Store e del PlayStation Store. Inoltre non sarà possibile continuare a giocarlo sulle console moderne, visto che non è compatibile con PlayStation 4 o Xbox One. Chi lo possiede può però importarne le venticinque tracce audio in Rock Band 4. Su entrambe le piattaforme, bisogna cercare la "Rock Band Blitz Soundtrack". La ricerca va fatta rispettivamente sul PlayStation Store e sull'Xbox Store.
