E' Natale, e come è logico aspettarsi è tempo di resse e risse presso gli espositori di merce dei grandi magazzini, sia che si tratti di salmone affumicato che di videogiochi, a quanto pare.
La conseguenza inevitabile è che i titoli venduti maggiormente siano quelli più dedicati ad un pubblico ampio e variegato, in questo caso in grado di superare anche i million seller patentati come Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, per fare un esempio. Ecco dunque che troviamo Just Dance 3 al primo posto della classifica console e The Sims 3 in quella PC, nella settimana compresa tra il 12 e il 18 dicembre 2012. Per il resto, si rileva il piazzamento di Star Wars: The Old Republic, appena uscito, al quarto posto della classifica PC e le ottime prestazioni di Mario Kart 7 e Professor Layton e il Richiamo dello Spettro sui portatili Nintendo.
