Settimana fiacca questa per le classifiche giapponesi, con Mario Kart 8 Deluxe che mantiene la testa delle vendite software, pur avendo venduto solo altre 36.440 copie, seguito da Monster Hunter XX per Nintendo 3DS con 15.002 copie e da The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild con 11.916 copie, quest'ultimo riuscito a risalire in terza posizione. Non va benissimo l'unica nuova uscita degna di nota della settimana, ossia Attack on Titan: Escape from Certain Death per Nintendo 3DS, che vende meno di diecimila copie.
La fiacca generale si riflette anche sul fronte hardware, dove possiamo vedere un calo generalizzato nelle vendite di tutte le console, con Switch che rimane in testa, tallonata da PlayStation 4 (sommando la versione Standard/Slim a quella Pro) e dal New Nintendo 3DS LL. leggiamo i dati.
